It would be my pleasure to put my extensive knowledge of all things tax and accounting in a variety of industries to work for you.
I have over 15 years of tax and accounting experience at global accounting firms Andersen LLP and Deloitte & Touche LLP. Most recently, I worked in private industry for a Fortune 500 company and as a senior manager at a global middle market audit, tax and consulting firm. My areas of expertise include accounting and financial statement preparation; cash flow management; and preparation and review of individual and business returns, including federal and state corporate returns (consolidated and non-consolidated); partnership returns; not-for-profit returns; and international returns.
I am also highly skilled in the area of tax provision preparation and review, including FIN48 analysis. I consider myself an expert in identifying tax savings and implementing various tax planning strategies to save my clients money.
I am a trusted business advisor who consults with my clients on a variety of other small business issues, including tax controversy (IRS, state, and local); special projects, including R&D, accounting methods, incentives and credits) and business performance and general accounting and advisory services.
I am a certified public accountant licensed in Texas and Mississippi and have done graduate work at the University of Memphis. I am actively involved in my community, serving on the Board of Directors for The Bridge Breast Network, an organization that saves lives by providing free necessary medical care to the uninsured who are suffering from breast cancer. I also serve on the National Board of Directors of a minority accounting association, and I am a member of The Junior League of Dallas. I am also a graduate of the Blueprint for Leadership program, and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
